Debuffs are the opposite of buffs. They're applied to your enemies and provide negative status effects. Debuffs can be removed in one of two ways:

  • Expires over time (usually ranging from 1 to 5 seconds)
  • Dispelled

Types

Stuns

Stun is a form of hard crowd control that leaves the target in a state where they're unable to move or cast abilities until the end of the effect. Unlike incapacitated or petrified, Stuns do not break on damage.

Incapacitated

Incapacitated is a form of hard crowd control that leaves the target in a state where they're unable to move or cast abilities until the end of the effect or damage is applied to the target. Incapacitated effects generally last longer than stuns.

Petrified

Petrified is a form of hard crowd control that leaves the target in a state where they're unable to move or cast abilities and gives them a shield. This status lasts until the end of the effect or the shield that the target receives when petrified is broken. Petrified effects generally last longer than stuns.
